Jordan's sacred Mount Nebo will be the starting point of this approximately 54km trip. The mountain is 710 meters (2,330 ft) above sea level and is a 15-minute drive from the Roman Byzantine town of Madaba. The mountain provides a panorama view of Palestine over the Jordan River Valley. From the summit, it is often possible to see the city of Jericho and even as far as Jerusalem on a clear day. Mount Nebo is famous for the reference in the Bible, where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land before his death.
On the way, we pass some small villages such as Uyun al Dhib (meaning the wolf's eyes), which show the typical Jordan lifestyle.
The 54km off-road will bring us to the Dead Sea, which has a sea level of minus 414m (-1358 mi) and is pronounced the lowest place on earth. Its idyllic location presents rest to play a central role. The scenic area provides an ideal alternative to the bustling cities; however, it has enough hidden secrets for the real adventure seeker!

This 36km ride is an intermediate-level ride on-road and with many downhills! It is, therefore, perfect for many different levels.
We are starting from Mount Nebo, going through the villages and over the mountains of Uyun Al Dhib, which translates to the wolf eyes. The route shows us fantastic panoramic views of the Dead Sea and rewards us with pleasant downhills. The road is less traveled by cars, providing calm and comfortable cycling conditions.
