The starting point of this route is the Rajif viewing point, located roughly 100km (62 mi) north of the red sea city of Aqaba, and 15km (9.3 mi) south of Petra, Wadi Musa. It is one of Jordan's beautiful, robust landscapes that will release the butterflies in your belly to start the ride.

We will cross the ancient pass of the Edom mountain range and transit through Dlagha village before we arrive at the Nabatean Robert's Rock.

From there, we head to the Jordan Road intersection, marking the finishing point in Wadi Araba, which separates Palestine from Jordan. The valley stretches from the Dead Sea all the way south to Aqaba, stretching around 150km (93 mi). The desert area belongs to the Great Rift Valley and reaches a height of 450m (1476 ft) above sea level to a low of 400m (1312 ft) below sea level on the Jordan side.

It is a stunning bike route for the intermediate-level cyclist. We will start from the viewpoint of Rajif where you will have a panoramic scene of the mountains in South Jordan. Next, we pass through Dlagha village and will head down to Wadi Araba. The ride includes a lot of rolling up and down the hilly roads, which might be a bit of a challenge; nevertheless, the rough landscapes with the occasional Bedouin and their camels and other herds along the way will be worth it.
