The ride starts in Naour, a southwestern region of the Amman Municipality, where we will have some lovely views of the valleys and mountains of Amman. Even the towers at the 5th circle can be spotted.

Soon we will pass the Archaeological site of Tall Hisban, where traces of numerous civilizations are found during the excavations. Yet, the site also has connections to the biblical Heshbon, which has been mentioned 35 times in the Old Testament, hence the name Hissbon. The place served a prominent role during the Jewish conquest and settlement of Canaan.

We continue through countryside roads, cross villages and markets, enjoy the panoramic views of the dead sea and perhaps meet some people from the local communities. Rolling up and down the hills before we arrive at Mount Nebo. The area is a bit more prepared for tourists, meaning we will pass some souvenir shops.

Mount Nebo is a mountain ridge located 10 km (6 mi) west of the Roman Byzantine town of Madaba. Mount Nebo is located 710 meters (2,330 ft) above sea level and has a panorama view of Palestine across the Jordan River Valley. From the summit, it is often possible to see the city of Jericho and even as far as Jerusalem on a clear day. The mountain is famous for the reference in the Bible, where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land before his death.
